The best Book about Drawing ever written! And we have almost every chapter posted! It’s very old but if you are serious about Drawing then you need to start reading it.

Permit me in the first place to anticipate the disappointment of any student who opens this book with the idea of finding “wrinkles” on how to draw faces, trees, clouds, or what not, short cuts to excellence in drawing, or any of the tricks so popular with the drawing masters of our grandmothers and still dearly loved by a large number of people.

While it tempting to draw exactly what you see in your figure studies every time, it is not a very practical way to get better. In fact if you try to do this every time you hinder your creativity and not exercise all of your drawing muscles. Here is some examples of new ways to look at your Figure Drawing.
