Figure Drawing, like anything else is a challenge to learn when just starting out. Do not get discouraged. Most artists are more judgmental of their own work than others are. While you may not like it, does not mean that others won’t. In fact, others may love it. Never judge your drawing while it is unfinished.

There are always options for learning to draw from home whether you buy books, watch videos or take a class online. We have found some online classes that we thought were worth mentioning. Some look better than others and you should email the instructors and have a discussion before you sign up with any of them.

Going to Figure Drawing Class.

Figure drawing class is a great experience. For both beginners and experienced artists it is a great way to both extend your craft and meet others with the same interest in drawing.

Many professional artist’s consider it a mandatory part of their regular training. For the hobby artist it may seem a little overwhelming at first. Rest assured that the people in your classes are mostly hobby artist’s as well. Enjoying a relaxing and meditative process. They were new at one time as well.
